Of The Cloth was built on a belief that clothing can do more than cover our bodies — it can express who we are, tell our stories, and connect us to culture.
In the historic heart of Downtown Los Angeles, our shop became a home for artists, designers, and locals who value garments created with intention, personality, and soul.
On June 9th, everything changed.
Our store was looted, and nearly everything inside was taken — inventory, equipment, and years of work collected piece by piece.
As an independently owned business, there was no safety net or corporate support. The loss was total. And for a moment, it felt like the dream we built had been taken with it.
But our story doesn’t end here.
This setback has become the spark for a new chapter — one grounded in resilience, creativity, and community.
We’re rebuilding from the ground up, reimagining our collections, and doubling down on what makes us who we are: the artistry, the culture, and the spirit of Los Angeles.
To everyone who has stood with us — visited, shopped, messaged, or shared our story — thank you. Your support isn’t just helping us reopen a store.
It’s helping us rebuild a dream.
Welcome to the next chapter of Of The Cloth. Shaped by loss, driven by purpose, and recreated with heart.
